I have to move the car by putting it in neutral I didn't have the key. Is there a way to put it in neutral without the key? Also the hood release may be broken. I have a friend who is a good mechanic and has tools.

Good evening,

You need to go down under the car to where the shift cable attaches to the transmission. Remove the cable from the transmission. Then you can move it out of park.

Just the way tow truck tow with no keys.

That year has a fully mechanical interlock. Just a simple cable that the rotation of the switch moves to unlock it. Since you are going to need a key eventually you might want to just call a mobile locksmith and have one cut to fit the ignition cylinder. You will need ID and proof of ownership but it would let you do whatever you need to do to move it or get it running and not need to mess with crawling underneath to move it and put it back in park.
