We have replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter, and she we have rebuilt the carburetor and replaced the injectors. There is still no fuel coming out of the injector, even though if we take them out fuel leaks out the side of them. What can I do to fix this?

Hi,

If you have fuel pressure to the throttle body injectors, either there is a wiring issue, or the ECM has failed. Each fuel injector is a solenoid-operated device controlled by the ECM. If you look below, you'll see that the ECM is what controls the injectors.

First, check the inj A fuse. See pic 2 for the location. When you check the fuse, also confirm there is power to and from it.

Next, I would recommend checking for diagnostic trouble codes. The truck has an OBD1 system that doesn't require a scan tool to get codes. All you need is a short jumper wire or even a paper clip.

Follow the directions in this link:

Let me know what you find.

Take care,

Joe
