Turn the switch on lights come on but try to start no crank. I am not getting any fire to starter from the switch. Turn the switch on the lights come on but try and crank the truck will not crank I have no power coming from the switch to engage the starter I can jump the relay and truck cranks and even will start as long as I leave the switch in the on spot, but the switch will not send power to the starter. I would like to know where the neutral safety switch is, its not on the transmission where the ste gear selector is.

Just to be clear, when you jump the relay with 12 volts the starter operates. Where are you getting the 12 volts from?

This could be a position switch, but we need to check the power from the TCM to the relay and that will tell us if this is operating.

If you are not getting power on this green/orange wire, then we need to monitor the TCM and find out if the inhibit switch states are correct to determine if this is causing the issue.

In park they should all be reading off. If they are not, then the issue is in the CVT unit itself as there is no external switch.

However, there should be some codes if this is the case.

Take a look at this info and let me know what questions you have, and we can go from there. Thanks
