On Nissan Pickup, 720-D, 1986, 2.4L, 2bbl carburetor, 140,000 miles.

Truck will start when cold, will not start when even warm. Has new battery, wiring from battery, starter, alternator, plugs, and starter. It will start the first time when cold, run 30 seconds, turn off. When I try to restart, it will not start. What are the possible problems with it?

How about the switch?
Some times the contacts on the switch are "worn" and won`t make a good contact.

Check your choke plate on the top of the caruburetor if it is stuck release it, I have a 2bbl rochester carburetor and I tend to have a problem with the choke plate jaming just it will run and fire for a few seconds then stops and wont fire, if that doenst fix it try checking the fuel filter on the fuel rail and in the carburetor for a clog or junk in the filter
