1983 Nissan Truck 83 Nissan pick up stalling

I just bought an 83 Nissan pickup. It starts and idles for a few seconds then stalls. If I feather the throttle I can keep it running. If I get it moving by feathering the throttle it will run. It seems to be worse when cold. Thanks in advanced for any help.

Hi Ricky211 and welcome to 2carpros

Lets start by ensuring that the fuel pump is producing the corrrect fuel pressure by using a fuel pressure gauge-Pressure okay-inspect/clean/test the PCV and EGR valves. Also make sure the air/fuel solenoid valve is operating

Make sure the curb idle speed is correct/the ignition timing and choke plate is opening during initial start up-
