Went to nissan for bump bump bump sound as if I have a spot on a front tire and was told it was a tire problem. Went to sears they said I needed struts which was causing poor wear. I still hear the bump. They said it is a wheel bearingon drivers side please advise.

Hello,

if your bearing defected you can detect the noise more clearly from the left side when you corner in speed to right side that the vehicle weight gives more stress at the front left bearing, when you corner at left side noise disappear or become less.

check our guide below how to replace wheel bearing.

Check the diagrams below how to replace front bearings specific to your vehicle.

hope these helps.

thank you.
