2002 Nissan Sentra Excessive Cranking and Emissions Control

I have a nissan sentra SER Spec V 6 speed and I changed the spark plugs and all 4 ignition coils and it still gives me the same excessive cranking. I was told it might be the fuel pump what else can I do about this? Im also getting Emissions control malfunction what can that be? I am changing my headers soon and complete exhuast will this help?

Your new exhaust system will not help with the problem you are having. First off, we need to know the code(s) of the check engine light. The easiest way to test for fuel pump is to test fuel pressure by the fuel rail. You should have about 50 psi at idle. If you don't, then use the money for your exhaust to get a new pump. But we still need to know the codes.
