1999 Nissan Sentra starter

The cable that goes from the solenoid to the battery came off. Therefore is not cranking. Is there a way to re-attach said cable or am I stuck purchasing a new starter?

If it just came off the solenoid (not broken), just find yourself another nut and tighten. Easiest way is go to the parts store, ask for the starter, use the nut on the new starter as a guide to get you the new nut to match.
