1999 Nissan Sentra 4 cyl Manual 142000 miles

I just found out that I need to replace my catalytic converter. Would this cause my car to leak oil?

Catalyst has nothing to do with oil leaks. Is it coming from the front of the motor, where the belts are? If it is, either your crank seal, or one of the cam seals is leaking.
