1999 Nissan Sentra Car makes some sound when speeded

1999 Nissan Sentra Automatic 105356 miles

My car makes a resonating/drag sound when I speed it over 35miles/hr. I doubt if it is a transmission problem because it is more like exhaust problem. Have been unable to figure out the root cause. Any inputs are welcome.

Hi akhattri,

I believe it is exhaust related. Check the catalytic converter for internal damage.

I showed it to a mechanic and he mentioned that it is the bearing problem which is causing this. I had it replaced, but still the noise is coming on the same speed. (Around 40 m/hr)Wonder if something else is causing this problem.
