My car seems to be dripping oil and will start to smoke a little bit from the engine every now and then, not a lot. My car doesn't over heat or anything and i've got plenty of coolant. As I was looking up possible oil leak areas I found out that this model has a problem with valve cover gaskets after about 100,000 miles and cause oil leaks. What I'm wondering is could the oil thats leaking be getting on the engine manifold somewhere and burning and thats whats causing the smoke? Also I've noticed my car will do it more when it has snowed.

Hello,

Yes, the oil can be dripping down on the exhaust manifold and causing the smoking.
