1988 Nissan Sentra engine just quits

While driveing along the engene sometimes stops No hesitation or sputters just quits and eventually re starts I have had a tuneup and replaced the fule filter with no luck can you help thank you vincent

You need to check the fuel pressure could be the fuel pump failing
