I cleaned the rotor and distributor made sure it was dry before I put it back. Car started fine then I started adjusting the idle and it quit running now it will not start. Could it be something to do with the fuel pump?

That car was sold in the US as an Infinity G20. From looking at the idle adjustment process. Check the TPS connector to be sure it seated all the way. When you turn the key to the run position listen at the fuel filler and you should be able to hear the pump activate. Also, check the fuses in the fuse panel behind the dash. It provides power to the TPS and pump. Looks like one is a ten amp the other fifteen amp, both are tagged as fuse seven.
