I have a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder LE with almost 100k miles on it. I recently got into a minor fender bender that will require a bumper and one headlight (maybe more?). I am also due for new tires and a routine service appointment.

Is it worth keeping and fixing this car or should I just trade it in for another car with payments ranging around $250/mo for 2yrs? I am worried that the cost of fixing the car plus the costs associated with maintaining an old car is not worth the money or the headache. Please help!

Thank you!

Hi there,

I think that you have answered your own question here, if you are even thinking about disposing of the car then I feel that this is what you will be most happy with, over the years I find that my customers tend to make there own mind up well before they ask my advice on such matters, I think that it is just a case of wanting some support with such decisions, very few if any have said that they wish that they made a different decision, I would only advise to sell if I felt after my own full inspection I found that the car was not worth the investment, and often these cars are well in advance of 10 years old.
