1997 Nissan Pathfinder Non-Starting Engine

I Change the gasket on my intakemanifold and now my car won't start unless I keep turning the distributor cap. Anyone very have this problem?

If you have to rotate the cap to get it to start, sounds like your timing is off a few degrees. Did you remove the distributor when you changed the gasket? If so, the gear may not be aligned properly with the camshaft.
There could also be contact problems. I would take off the cap and check to make sure there are no cracks in the cap or rotor and no corrosion on the contact points.
