1996 Other Nissan Models

1996 nissan micra 1000cc. NATS light starts flashing. Engine starts but cuts out after 5/6 seconds. Eventually engine will not start. If I disconnect the battery for 5/10 minutes then reconnect and switch the ignition on/off rapidly for 8/10 times then light goes out and engine runs normally but problem returns after a couple of days

You need to have the vehicle plugged into nissan's diagnostic computer to remedy the nats fault !
