Thank you for your answer concerning disconect batt. B-4 replacing mass air flow sen.

I'm fixing daughter-in-laws nissan so she can get on the road. Just got maf sensor. If you could tell me one more thing I will throw a few your way.

I want to make sure vacumn line from intake to egr valve is not plugged. However I can't find the the egr valve I know it's in the exhaust man. SOMEWHERE. Can you help me locate it. Saailer

Its on the driver side, under the intake, on the side of the engine block well hidden, there is apparatus with block plastic body round 2" in diameter with a alumium bottom and two hoses coming out of it mounted with 2 bolts.
