1989 Nissan Maxima strut problem?

The front left side of front end has dropped down low and locked in place. Car wants to take a sharp left and I have to steer right to go straight. It just happens that it is below zero temperature outside and I'm wondering if strut will spring back when it warms. Is it safe to drive to repair shop?

Your spring won't come back up when it is warm. Something is terribly wrong with your suspension and/or steering systems. I would not feel safe driving that vehicle anywhere.
