1987 Nissan Maxima lacks power

My car has no power when going up a steep incline I wont be able to shift into 2nd gear, when passing a car I am in 3rd gear pedal to the floor and not really moving very fast it feels like my car has way to much top end and no bottom end at all to speak of

Inspect and test all the following listed below:

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard
