1999 Nissan Maxima loss of power

I just bought a nissan maxima 99 197k on it and I was driving home and I hit a small pothole not going fast at all prob like 25 30 mph and I immediatly lost power to the engine I stalled out. Pulled over, restarted engine, heard hissing sound coming from under car, started to drive and had no power over 110 -15 mph. Dove it home like that. Cant really hear hissing sound till you rev the engine to 2k rpm. Also the check engine light is on because of the evap valve? I believe its caled they said it controlls emissions and has no effect on preformance.

Get the MIL checked out. Post the code numbers here and we'll help diagnose.

Hissing sound. Raise vehicle and put the front end on jack stands. Have an assistant start and rev the motor to similar idle. Listen for the sound and locate.
