My fan selector switch on my dash no longer blows in positions 1, 2 or 3. Position 4 blows full power, but the others are as if it were off. Wondering if I can switch that switch or is this something I have to have the dealership do for me. If I can do it myself can you direct me some instructions on online?

Thanks for your time!

Sounds to me like your blower motor resistor has burnt up cuasing only the high speed to work as it bypasses the resistor

I was having the same issue with my vehicle today and it turned out to be my blower motor resistor.

The blower motor is mounted under the glove box. It is in the corner somewhat covered by the kick panel. The card, at least on my vehicle, is held in with 2 phillips head screws. The plug has 4 wires, one large wire and 3 smaller wires.

Here goes a picture.
