Hi, newbie here. I have a 1995 altima that after about 7 miles of driving started spittin n sputterin, blew some black smoke than died. I left the car sit for about an hour, tried to start it and it started up and ran fine for about 5 miles and did the same, than I noticed the check engine light came on. What could be going wrong?

Oxigen sensor. 60% sure
But, you have to use the diagnostic port with the scanner
to be 100% sure and to reset the computer, go to the
autozone and rent it, for free the scanner tool, there can explain you how to use it.
