1999 Nissan Altima All dash lights came on and engine died.

My son was driving my Altima when all of the dashboard lights came on and when he pulled over, the car stopped. After a minute, he the car started again, the lights went off, but when he got to work, the fan kept running after the engine was turned off. Is this electrical?

Hi cdb,

If the fans don't stop running, it could be eletrical, the relay could be bad.

Otherwise it could be an overheating problem.
Check if the coolant level in the radiator is correct.
