THIS CAR HAS A GOOD STEREO BUT, THE FRONT DOOR SPEAKERS ARE BLOWN. I WANT TO TAKE THE DOOR PANELS OFF TO REPLACE THEM. PLEASE HELP ME.

ALSO, THE FRONT LEFT WINDOW SWITCH WILL LET THE WINDOW DOWN, BUT IT WILL NOT COME BACK UP RIGHT AWAY. SOME TIME IT TAKES HUNDREDS OF TRIES THEN THE WINDOW MIGHT GO UP. CAN I FIX IT OR DO I HAVE TO RE PLACE THE WHOLE SWITCH IN THE FRONT LEFT DOOR?

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP
GEORGE

1. Open the door fully.
2. Remove the inside handle escutcheon.
3. Remove the pull handle.
4. If so equipped, remove the power window switch trim and switch assembly.
5. If applicable, disconnect the switch assembly wiring harness.

The door panel is held in place by several clips. Use a door panel clip removal tool to avoid damaging the clips, door panel or door.

6. Carefully pry the door panel from the door.
7. Lift the door panel straight up to release it from the lip at the top of the door.

To install:

8. Replace any damaged clips.
9. Position the door panel on the door frame and ensure that the panel fits over the lip at the top of the door.
10. Align the clips with the holes in the door and, using your fist, tap the door panel into place.
11. Connect the switch assembly wiring harness, if so equipped.
12. If applicable, install the power window switch trim and switch assembly.
13. Install the pull handle.
14. Install the inside handle escutcheon.

The switch is most likely needing replaced, the up connection in the switch is probably failling.
