Steering Shake

Hi, I have a 1990 Nissan, 240 sx. The only problem I have is in the steering wheel. In between 35 and 45 mph (around there). My steering shakes weather I am accelerating or decelerating. Anything above that is a smooth ride. Im hoping its something like a wheel balancing or an alignment but I dont want to waste my money, if anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it

You are right could be caused by faulty balanced tires or mis-alignment

start balancing the tires (thats not that expensive)
