I replaced my front shocks with Duralst Shocks from AutoZone. The top three nuts do not flare out at the bottom of the nut like the old ones did. There is a small space I can see through where the upper three bolts get mounted. Should I get different nuts or put a washer in it?

Edit: Oops this is on a 2007 not a 2015. I finished this about midnight last night, after further inspection I am wrong. It appears the old shock maybe moved a bunch creating a bigger hole. Should I be worried?

I would like a bit closer picture, it looks like the strut was moving and chewed out the strut tower mounting holes a bit. The holes should be just large enough that the studs on the new part just slide in with a small amount of play. I would loosen the nuts and line the top of the strut up in the center of the hole, then add a good washer under each of the nuts to spread the load. If they didn't include locking nuts I would also apply a bit of blue Loctite to each one after the alignment. Once aligned you can remove the nuts one at a time, apply the Loctite, torque the nut back down, then do the next one.
