After getting an alignment the car feels like the traction control or the VSC is kicking in sometimes when I am in a corner. The person that did the alignment said that he did not do a zero-point calibration.
After doing some research it looks like I should be able to do this through the OBD2 port. This is referred to in the shop manual as DLC3. The instructions that I found say to connect the CG and TS pins on the OBD2 port. In the shop manual I see that CG is pin 4 which is chassis ground. I don't see the TS pin.
I see a TC pin (See attached image). I followed the instructions that are also attached as an image but the VSC indicator and VSC warning lights did not behave as described. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Steve

TC is the Transmission Control module data stream. There is no way to do a reset without a scan tool as the sensor data you are trying to reset has no direct connection to the DLC, it has to be accessed through the CAN network and the steering module.
The VSC zero point calibration and the yaw sensor reset are performed at the same time.
You start with the key off, steering wheel and tires centered. Place the transmission in neutral and apply the parking brake. Scan tool gets connected, and you go into the chassis menu and select the VSC menu and do the reset.

That clears up a lot. Thanks.
I have an old copy of techstream that I have really never used.
Can I do this in techstream? I really appreciate your explanation.

Techstream can do it, but it needs to be a version newer than your car to access it.

It won't hurt to try the version you have; Toyota tends to surprise me at what the older versions can do sometimes.
