Okay, first started having problems when my cousin was driving he drove through a big puddle and the serpentine belt fell off then we put it back on. A couple days later I notice my air conditioner goes out than the next day my van keeps stalling and sometimes when I gave it gas nothing would happen than eventually my belt snapped and I took the air conditioner compressor off and put a bypass pulley on, but now my van will not even crank over. Please help!

So will it crank over without the belt on? Also can you hear the starter make a loud click thud when trying to start it?

There is a fix for throwing belts when going through puddles on those vans. Have you had the battery tested yet?

So when you turn the key to the run position do the dash lights come on the dash like normal? The fix for throwing belts is a kit from a company called gates.

Lets start by checking the trigger wire at the starter using a test light. This will let us know if the starter is bad.

Here is a guide

Please let us know what you find

Best, Ken
