Last night at a red light car just shut off no crank, no lights, key stuck in ignition, no electric power at all. I checked the under hood fuse box and there is power getting to it and not emergency flashers. Nothing in the car is coming on.
What can it be?
Please help!

Good afternoon,

This sounds like the battery is dead. It would explain the no power.

My concern is if the charging system is working.

You need to charge the battery. Once you do that, the key will come out.

Yes. You need to start at the battery.

Good morning,

Can you test for voltage to the ignition switch? I need to know if power is getting there.

I also attached some checks for the power. Check the 50 amp fuse at the battery for power on both sides which feeds the BCM.

Problem solved.
I replaced the fuse box under the dashboard passengers side and we are back on business.
