I had my starter replaced it started fine for the first three times, then I went to start it and then it would not crank over. However, I did press the lock button on the key but the car did not lock because battery was drained on the key fob. I put a new battery in it and it still does not work and my car will still not start.

Okay let's try to diagnose the start issue first. The key problem may simply be it needs to be relearned to the vehicle because the battery was disconnected.

Have you rechecked all the repairs you made? Have the connections accidentally loosened? How about the battery? Have you done any voltage tests on the battery? Below will be some quick links on your battery and starter system that will help you out.

The last link will show you how to load test the battery. Perform this test to eliminate the battery as the culprit. If the battery passes you know the issue is with the starter or starter circuit itself.
