My key got stuck in the ignition so we took the steering column out and we replicated the ignition cylinder when we went to put the steering column back in we contacted everything how it was before and now my car won’t start at all. It won’t turn on it won’t start nothing will happen. I don’t know what could of happened for it just stop after taking it out. We thought it was the battery, but we charged it and did even all over again. It still wouldn’t start up.

We need to start with checking for voltage coming out of the switch. Based on what you have done, I think it is a safe assumption that there is no voltage. If that is the case, we cannot rule out a faulty switch.

However, we need to also check for voltage coming into the switch. You have two red wires that are fed from the battery that we need to make sure you have voltage on each one.

Let's start with this and go from there because depending on the results we either need to replace the switch again or go further in the system.
