Muffler replacement

In replacing the stock muffler am I able to replace it with a smaller muffler, as in size, shape, length?

You can replace the muffler with anything that you want. The only challenge that you are going to have is mounting it and running new pipes to it. This is work for a muffler shop as they have all the pipe bending machines and welders to do this correctly.

In theory though all the muffler does is dampen the noise so that the vehicle is not so loud. So you can use any muffler you like, you just have to get it to fit and connect the pipes.
