It idles high and rpm's in drive is high. I lose acceleration and then I get it back.

Hello,
This sounds like the fuel pump is going out which is common. Here is a guide to help us check the fuel pressure you can get a gauge at the auto parts store they rent them for free. Here is a guide to help us get started:
The pounds should be 48 to 56 PSI. Please run down this guide and report back.
