I have a 98 Mitsubshi Eclipse with 125,000 miles the other day the auto would  not start. We ended up changing the timing belt, alternator and the battery. Now the Radio will not work. The dealer wants 70 dollars to remove the radio to check numbers. Then they can get the radio codes to me. Why do we have to pay to get these radio codes. I didn't have to pay anything to get the Radio Codes for my SAAB all I did was call the dealer and gave them the year and make, then they were able to cross reference in 5 minutes. Any place to get this code without having to pay?
