I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Montero Sport XLS with 4WD and an automatic transmission. I have 38,000 miles on my truck. My radiator recently blew and needs to be replaced. I took the truck to my dealership and they quoted a price of $755.00 for the radiator and with labor they gave me an estimate of $1200.00. When I go online I have seen quotes for replacement radiators between the $200 and $300 range. Am I being hosed by the dealership? What are the reasons for the variations in price?

WOW ! That is quite an estimate. I dont have one here in front of me to look at, but the estimator we use (Mitchell) calls for 1.3 hrs of labor, warranty time is only 1 hr of labor. Thats 345.00 for 2 gallons of coolant and 1.3 hrs of labor
