Air conditioning

Air runs intermittent. Will be cooling the car down then as driving along gradually stops cooling. Turn system off and then back on and sometimes starts to cool and sometimes it dosen't.
2003 mitsubishi lancer evolution 60k miles
i have checked freon pressure and it is in the ok range.

Could have a pressure switch or relay that cant hold the amperage for long and pops off after a short time
