1993 Other Mitsubishi Models 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

One day I tired to start it it had a hard time then it started, the next dai I tired to start it nothing happned. I look under the dash there were some wires disconnted so I reconnted them and nothing is happending. I already replaced two relays dwon there.

Sorry to say that info provided is not going to allow us to help you.

I would go with electrical diagnosis first.

1. Can the engine crank? If no, was there any clicking noise when ignition was turned to cranking position?

2. Is the battery ok?

3. Dash meter indicator lamps all functioning with ignition switched on?

All the lights work, the starter is about 1yr old. The engine wont crank. Everthing else works. The battery is chraged. I have a repair manual. I looked at the wires diegrams and everything looks fine. I think there might be a short some where then. Does any one know a cheap shop in Ca around east bay

Hi,

Since the starter won't crank, try cranking the starter by bypassing the ignition with direct current.

If the starter don't crank then something is wrong with it, otherwise should be ignition switch, wire or relay. For Auto models you need to check the inhibitor switch also.
