Air Conditioning problem
2001 Mitsubishi Galant 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

a/c is leaking into car bad thhe whole carpet is saoked I am almost positive that the drain line from the condenser coil is cloged with slime. In my house I add slime out to the condenser coil collection trak and flush the drain lines my problem on this car is I cant find the coil or the drain line can you help. I have a full range of tools. Thsnks

Hi scoobykadi,

The AC drain hose is located at central part of firewall and goes in to the evaporator housing.

You need not remove the unit to get at the drain hose. Pulling up the carpet should allow you access.
