Recently the check engine light came on in my car, when I had the diagnostic done on my car it said that I needed to replace to oxygen sensor after the cat. When I replace the sensor with a universal sensor the check engine light went off breifly. It came back on and then I went to autozone for another diagnostic and the just reset the computer. The light went off again but when I got home and turned the car on again the light was back on. I don't understand why this is. Could the sensor be loose?

It may be a bad catalytic converter also if a new sensor doesnt solve it.
