I was trying to get a inspection sticker on this eclipse. The tech said that I had a sensor that was bad. Bank1 sensor2. I changed it out and drove over 100 miles since I did not have a code reader. The light never went out. The sensor I changed was the one in front of the engine. Should I have changed the one after the converter? If so, auto parts gave me the wrong info. Do I need to buy a code reader to clear the light? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi there,
Thank you for the donation,
The down stream O2 sensor is only for calibration purposes and is not normally at fault. do you have the exact code set in the original test?
clear the code by following text below,

if the code re sets advise code for further information.
