Ok here's the background. 2 weeks ago I threw a check engine light. Came back as the leak detection pump so I got it replaced. Now I was cruising about 45mph and went to accelerate and saw the car was slowing down. As I put on a turn signal to get off the road, everything shut off, powersteering went out, and felt like the brakes weren't working either. Once I turned onto the road, the car wouldn't move anymore. We got it pushed off the street and checked everything. It gets air, and spark, so I'm guessing it's a fuel problem. When we took the gas cap off it didn't sound like there was any pressure. There was a little gas in the tank, the light hadn't come on so I don't think it ran out of gas, but we did put a little bit in and still nothing. When trying to start it, doesn't sound like it will turn. The ASE certified tech that looked at it said I should take it back to whoever put the leak detection pump in. I plan on doing that, but it's 45 minutes away so I wanted to see if anyone has any suggestions before doing so.

So after taking apart the fuel pump, found some sort of sticker had been clogging it. So the car was no longer getting gas. Probably would have worked fine with the same fuel pump, but I got a new one just in case. YAY its fixed.
