1994 Mitsubishi Eclipse 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

It continues to overheat and I have to keep adding water to the radiator. And it used to smoke white smoke do you know what could be wrong?

Try replacing the thermostat-don't work get it block and pressure tested-

I have already replaced the thermostat, how would I get it pressure tested?

Take it to any mechanic and ask them to do a compression test. Aslo you could have burned your head gasket not likely thoe, or your water pump may need to be replaced. Try flushing the raditator first.
