Hi anyone who can help.

My 2005 mitsubishi diamante was built in Australia.

I'm experiancing a vibration shaking problem, when the car is stationary and idling. The vibrations appear to be coming through the engine, and are very noticeable in drive and lesser in the other gears.

I took it to mitsubishi here in New Zealand and they diagnosed it as engine crank timing incorrect, however another respectable mechanic fixed this, and yet the vibrations continue.

You feel them through the seats, and steering wheel, it doesnt shake when moving only when the car is stationary and engine is warm, when the engines cold its barely noticeable.

Could anyone help?

Hello thanks for replying.

Are you absolutly certain the mounts could be the problem? Its just car repairs in new zealand arnt cheap.
My local mechanic believes it might be the mount under the exhaust manifold, do you believe this could cause the vibrations?

A thorough inspection underneath and top side should reveal where the problem is located-something is loose

I cannot be absolutely right I'm not with the vehicle but it is a probable cause of your problem-Sorry!
