Was having a problem with the truck's not starting or not Idling very well. It kept cutting off then wouldn't start. Figured out that it was the camshaft position sensor, so I went ahead and replaced the new distributor, new distributor cap, new rotor button. Put it all back together one minute runs fine next minute I do not have fire on the number one plug coming out of the distributor cap. Even to the spark plug or spark plug wire.

Hello,

This could be a problem with the rotor being 180 degrees out. I have included in the diagrams down below Diagnostic Troubleshooting for intermittent conditions of your vehicle's ignition system. Please go through the guide and get back to us with what you are able to find out, please.

Thanks,
Alex
