Hello,

Few things first.

Does the vehicle turn over but doesn't start?

Have you done anything to check for the problem?

If not here is what I need you to do.

Get in you vehicle make sure everything is off. Then turn key to on possition Not Starting, do you hear a hum or buzz sound for about 2 - 3 seconds?

If not could be your Fuel Pump, Fuel Pressure Regulator or the Fuel Pump Relay.

Post finding here.

When it was back firing, was it throught the exhaust or the intake. If through the exhaust that is an indication of a timing problem. Did you double check that the timing marks lined up properly.

Also I take it when you say it's not firing you don't have any spark at the plugs. Have you checked for Power at the Coil Pack. If no power check fuses.
