Car stopped while driving, starter will not operate when the key is turned but the fuel pump can be heard to be running and does not stop.

Hi:
Check to see if you are getting power to the starter. Have a helper turn the key to the start position and check to see if there is 12 volts to the smaller wire on the starter.
