I have a problem with the heat in my car. The heat comes out warm at first but then cools off quickly. The heater core has been flushed. The hoses feel hot before and after the heater core. When I move the climate control to hot the one hose gets cool. I am thinking maybe a vent is stuck open or the blend door is not opening all of the way. How do I check for these?

Try getting a a locking hose clamp plier and clamp the long hose that runs behind the motor. This is a bypass hose and most of your hot water goes into it, instead of your heater core. It's a design flaw.
