Having problems with the car starting fine at times and then at other times just cranking and not catching at all. When the car does start, the car doesn't miss, backfire or do anything amiss. Has been on the computer when running and no "codes" show. Fuel pump? Fuel injectors? PATS system? Vapor Lock? Arrgh!

None of the above! Usually turns out the connection on the crank sensor works loose enough to loose contact, this is the wire that goes down to the lower(crank) pulley, actually just above it. Pull it off and then push it back on tight. The sensor is only about 20.00 dollars if it keeps happening! A sure sign is if you have no spark when it happens!
