1994 Mercury Sable Water coming out of exhaust

I have water coming out of my exhaust I recently changed the thermostat but it got worse after putting in new one. There is a bunch of white smoke and water flowing out of the muffler, what could be the problem. Thank you

Get it block and pressure tested could be a blown headgasket, cracked head and block or an intake manifold leak.
