Turn the key on, no clicking, no nothing. Jumped the starter off solenoid, it cranks good, but still would not start. We also replaced the battery and the battery terminals, but still nothing. What could it be, please help. Thank you

Hello,

It sounds like you have a starter relay that is out but to be sure here is a guide to test the relay and the relay location as well as the wiring diagrams so you can see how it works below.

and

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Sometimes when I stop and shut the care off, it will not crank back. It will turn over fine and acts like it wants to start. Here is the kicker. You can hold the gas pedal to the floor and crank it over. It will turn about 3 times and bust right off everytime. The gas pedal has to be to the floor. You can not hold it half way or in any other position. Any ideas or any other information that you need?

Has the check engine light ever come on? Have you checked the temp sensor?

No check engine light has come on and the temp. Has been normal. It did it this morning when I took the kids to school. It cranked up fine. Drove to the school parked and cut it off for 5 minutes. It did not crank up. So I pushed the gas to the floor and she busted right off. It does it everytime. Other than that the car runs great. Nothing with the gauges or the check engine light.

If I had to guess, I would say the temp sensor is bad and sending a false reading to the computer. If it tells the computer it is cold when it isn't, the computer will compensate with additional fuel for a cold start. Thus, flooding the car and requiring you to put the pedal to the floor to allow more air to the engine. Regardless, without a check engine light, it is a guess at this time, but it would be a good place to start. Ask your mechanic to check it for you.
